WSP NYE // SHIRT ART

Here's the modified artwork for the shirt - just simplified a few things and pared it down to 4 colors. I thought that the overall shape of the image could work really well as a back print, so I whipped up a lil badge design that could go on the front. I'm also including mock ups of just a front print if y'all just wanted to go with that.

WSP NYE // FINAL ART

Here's the final art for the poster - It's set up to be a 4 color print. This thing should look totally insane printed up full size with some super bright inks. As far as the shirt art goes, I'm going to have to make a few adjustments and simplify some stuff so the art works well on a shirt, could even be cool to pare it down to just one or two colors (see last image of what that could look like maybe). I should have the shirt art wrapped up on Monday for y'all.

WIDESPREAD NYE // IN PROGRESS

Here's a quick update - still working out colors, shading, textures, type, etc... Should have everything finalized by the end of the week. But it will be on a dark blue night sky background, so dark navy shirts would probably work best - any dark color really should work!

WIDESPREAD PANIC // NYE POSTER CONCEPTS

Here are a few rough ideas for the New Years Eve poster, I tried to keep in mind that the graphics would need to work on a t-shirt as well as the poster, so everything below could be printed on anything really.

I kind of ran with the ancient egypt influence on this one - since the egyptians worshipped cats I thought it could be cool to do a weird cosmic egyptian landscape in a cat silhouette. I added a UFO for a fun ancient aliens inspired twist, but it could also cool to just have a spacey, intergalactic sky above the pyramids.

A more abstract psychedelic direction - a mysterious cosmic floating pyramid with a cobra snake wrapped around it. I'm thinking a really bright 60s inspired color palette could work really well here. The lettering of the band name could be nice rendered in some blobby, organic shapes that blend in somewhat with the snakes pattern.

This direction is more influenced by the new years aspect of the show, centering around the cyclical nature of time. An hourglass wrapped in an ouroboros-inspired snake eating its own tail. One side has the atlanta skyline in it, the other has ancient pyramids (this could be something more middle-eastern inspired as well). A line of falling sand connects the two landscapes - one ancient and one modern. The band name would go on both sides of the hourglass so it could be displayed in either orientation.
