WIDESPREAD PANIC // CHARLESTON SC POSTER

Here are a few rough concepts for the Charleston poster:

The festival is on the banks of the cooper river - which used to be home to giant prehistoric sharks called megaladons . People still regularly find giant sharks teeth in the area. I thought it could be cool to illustrate a megaladon encounter showing the scale difference between the giant shark and the diver. The shark could have a bright multicolor stripe pattern to add some visual interest, a giant psychedelic shark. I think this could be a nice local angle without having to resort to any cliches.

Another giant aquatic beast - this time a big whimsical sea monster emerging from the water. The pose and pattern on the monster could create a pattern-like effect that could be really nice I think. Again using bright, bold colors and patterns here.

There are several houses on the peninsula that are famously leaning over, this would be an exaggerated version of those. A mysterious old timer sits on the front stoop strumming a guitar, and the background could have a nice mysterious cloudy night sky. I think locals would really dig this one.
