tallulah round 2

One thing we thought would really help strengthen the brand and make it more versatile was some type of imagery, a symbol, to accompany the wordmark. From the beginning "Tallulah" has made me think "flowers." And not some corny flower imagery but something that falls right in line with the "Paris meets Charleston" feel you guys are going for. Something that can look both modern but at the same time like it was pulled off an antique perfume package.

Another element that improves the versatility of a logo is some secondary type or a byline. Usually a slogan or condensed mission statement that relates the brand to the viewer. I put one in as a placeholder to show how it helps round out the logo and supplies supplementary context. The example "savor the journey" hints at the menu style you are going with - journeying from the Low Country to the Appalachia (from plate to plate).

Everything in this round could work together under the same Tallulah brand umbrella to be used in different situations or applications. They main type was cleaned back up and received a new treatment to better fit with the container for the flower icon. The filigree/ornamentation from the previous version was not scraped but would be used like a boarder of sorts (you will see it in the business card).
