HOUSTON LLEW TEMPLATE 1

For now we used all copy as it was. We did try to lay it out in a more pleasing way to make not seem like so much type. We also used most of the same photography, as it did seem to go well with the copy. I would say new photography would only be nessassary if any of the current ones seem dated.

We tried to introduce as color and photography as possible to really liven things up and give it some personality. We also eliminated a lot of the straight ridged lines to make it feel less sterile. Replacing them with almost a torn or worn edge to better give off the "handmade" art vibe.

You will also see that most of the focus was on the cover, interior, and back since it seemed that was causing most of your displeasure. With the sheer number of items in the collection and the fact that it fluctuates makes if a bit tricky to improve the current system.

2. Interior mock up. Switched out the Spiritile image for one with a setting and more color. Rethought the "how they are made" photo montage, reaching accross the pages helps the composition feel more dynamic and pleasing.

9. Collection mock up. Pretty much just the color has been updated and elements added to blend it in with the rest of the brochure. I do plan on experimenting with the placement of the descriptions, but wanted hear your thoughts on the new all over look.
