ERIC CHURCH LAKE TAHOE ART

Here is the final art for the lake tahoe posters, the prints will look a lil different then what you see here since we are using transparent inks to create all the colors, I think they'll look killer though, similar to the phoenix poster from earlier this year.

ERIC CHURCH LAKE TAHOE CONCEPTS

Here are a few ideas for the lake tahoe posters, I think any of these could look great all finished up!

Poster 1 is a classic lake tahoe scene with a grizzly outdoorsman enjoying a cold one and dropping a line - Poster 2 shows what is below the surface of the water - instead of bait there is a record on the hook and a big ol' fish going for it.

Some really nice beautiful tahoe landscapes, but a giant sasquatch character is walking through them.

A pair of outdoorsy portrait featuring an old grizzled outdoorsman, and a bigfoot-styled character. The outdoorsman would have man-made camping gear surrounding his image, while bigfoot would be surrounded by natural materials - a sort of man vs. nature concept.

wrecking ball tee mockups

Here is a more finalized version of the wrecking ball design in a few different color combos - it transformed a bit since the sketch, I think these would look awesome all printed up.

It could also be cool to print them with a front pocket graphic, and the main graphic on the back:

ERIC CHURCH // SHIRT UPDATE

Here are a couple of new sketches:

a cool stacked type treatment for the ladies shirt - we would make the typography feminine but still have a slight gritty vintage-inspired  edge to it. Like an old faded hand painted sign.

similar to last time - but with an old tow truck. This could look great illustrated in a splotchy hand-inked style similar to the example you sent over. Maybe it has weeds growing up around it like its been parked in the backyard for awhile? It could also be cool to pull the 'logo' off the door and print that on the front pocket of a tee, and have the big truck illustration on the back.

eric church // phoenix final art

Here's the final art for the phoenix poster - like the SLC one the colors of the actual prints may be slightly different then what you see here - we're layering transparent inks to make several of the colors which can be a bit of an imperfect science, that being said I'm really excited to see how it prints.

EDIT: I kept thinking that the desert background of the image might be a little too busy so I wanted to try a simplified version that would put more focus on  the cactus/skull/snake thing - Personally I like this one more, I think it is visually a lot clearer - but if you dig the full background version we can roll with that!

ERIC CHURCH // PHOENIX UPDATE

Here's a quick update on the Phoenix poster - like the SLC update, this is still very much a work in progress and will really come alive once we start adding the textures and shading and all the good stuff.

ERIC CHURCH SLC FINAL ART

ERIC CHURCH SLC POSTER UPDATE

Here's a quick in progress shot of the poster - still very very much a work in progress, this is just the basic shapes / color study, next we will start working out details, textures & a final color scheme. We should have a more final version for you at the end of the week.

ERIC CHURCH APPAREL CONCEPTS

And here are a couple of rough sketches for the wrecking ball tee, I think they're both really fun!

This one would be a really dynamic illustration of a smashing wrecking ball - Eric's name done up in some cool type inside of the ball with bricks bursting out of the explosion.

The concept here is a t-shirt for a fake wrecking company named after Eric. The shirt would be made to look like a vintage tee from the 70s or 80s that you found at goodwill. The company 'slogan' could be a reference to the song lyrics, a nice little easter egg for the fans.

Eric Church poster concepts

Here are a few different directions for the Salt Lake City & Phoenix posters:

Utah is known as the beehive state so I thought it could be cool to do something related to that. This composition is also somewhat inspired by classic country nudie suits - think gram parsons style desert flowers and cool 70s  country-hippie style imagery. A southwest inspired color palette would bring it all together.

The Great Salt Lake is the largest salt water lake in the western hemisphere and due to the high salt concentration everything floats in it - this concept would have a rusty old F100 floating in the lake surrounded by instruments and a cooler, like the contents of the bed were spilled out on the way to the show.

Inspired by Arizona's desert landscape and lonely highways - a lone rider screaming down the road, passing some classic rusty road signs displaying the show info.

Another desert inspired piece for Phoenix - one of the hottest places on earth, if you're not careful you could end up like this guy - just a skull and an empty bottle of whiskey in the desert sun.
