This one ties directly to the song Black and Blue Bird off of the new album with all of the imagery on the poster (bird, butterflies, dandelions, smoke) coming directly from the lyrics.
This idea uses goldfinches, the state bird of Washington, to tie in to the location of the shows. The background for this one could either be a more sparse sky or could include elements of the gorge.
This concept is about nature reclaiming things that are man-made with a tree growing out of an old rusted-out car.
Here is a woods scene with an elk as the focal point. The surroundings would get darker moving back into the forest causing the elk to really pop out. The type on this one would be integrated into the poster with the band name and show information carved onto a tree in the foreground.
This idea would be a bear walking on an abandoned basketball court in the woods. It could be interesting to play with the time of day in this one, changing the colors for each night’s show. This idea and the previous 4 would be rendered in a detailed drawing style like this.
