AVETT BROTHERS // BEND, OREGON FINAL ART

Here is the final art for the Bend poster - it is set up to be a 3 color screenprint. The colors in the actual print might vary a little since we are using transparent inks. I can't wait to see these printed up I think they're going to look absolutely killer!

AVETT BROTHERS // BEND, OREGON POSTER CONCEPTS

Here are a few rough directions for the Bend poster:

A sleeping bear blending into a pacific northwest mountain scene

inspired by the local landscape and native art from the PNW - the idea here would be to create a bold and graphic pattern with a classic decorative vibe.

A sweet little baby deer sleeping in a thicket surrounded by various flora and fauna - this could be really cool illustrated in a vintage-inspired style.

Bend started as a logging town so I thought it could be apt to pay tribute to that - this would be a cross section of a log with a cool little smiley face in the very center. Ideally the log section would be a halftone photograph with the little smiley dude drawn in.

Here are some ideas we sent for last years Lincoln, CA poster that I think could also work for this one:

This would be done in a photo-collage style with each tree being made of a different color and texture. We would use vintage found photos, textures, scans, etc to give it tons of visual interest.
